Example Lesson
This is an example lesson on ScreenSteps Live. In addition to the lesson content (1) you also have the option of downloading a PDF version (2) or the lesson package. The lesson package can be imported into ScreenSteps where you will have all of the source material that was used to create the original lesson. Simply edit the lesson and repost it.
NOTE: You must choose to upload the PDF and Packaged versions of the lesson at the time you export from ScreenSteps Desktop to ScreenSteps Live. Only authorized users on your account will be able to download packages.
Manuals Tab
The manuals tab lists all of the manuals for your account. A user will only see the manuals they are authorized to see when they come to this page. In this case the user is not logged in so they are only seeing the public manuals.

In this example you can see that the user is logged in. They can now see all manuals for the account. The manual with the padlock is private (1).
Context Sensitive Help
Whenever you are logged in you can select the help icon to fold out a list of tutorials that apply to the screen you are on. Quick and clear instructions are always just a click away.
Manual Table of Contents
This is an example of a table of contents for a manual. The lessons in the manual (1) are divided up into sections (2) which are just groupings of lessons.
Tag Index
This is an example of the Tags Index for a manual. This lets the user see all lessons in the manual that have a specific tag.
Edit Manuals Screen
This is the screen where you will assemble your manuals. Drag lessons from the Available Lesson list (1) to a Section (2) in your manual. Add permalinks (3) and control access to your manual (4).
Adding Readers To A Manual
You can control access to your manuals by using Reader Accounts. A reader can be an individual or a company depending on how you prefer to manage permissions. To add readers to a manual just drag them over from the Available Readers list.
Lessons Tab
The lessons tab lists all of the lessons that you have posted to your ScreenSteps Live account. If you are logged in you will see all lessons. If you are not then only the lessons that have been marked as public will appear. The list can be sorted or searched.

Tags Tab
Tags allow you to quickly categorize lessons. A lesson can have as many tags as you would like.
1. List of tags used on your account
2. Number of lessons for the corresponding tag
3. Lessons for the selected tag
Customize Your Account
The Accounts Tab lets you upload a logo (1), set your company name (2), and set other account preferences.
Editing a Lesson
You can edit a lesson by changing its title (1), changing its permissions (2), editing tags (3) and viewing and responding to comments (4).
